Unreasonable Lab Japan Announcing Unreasonable Challenge Day on November 6th, 2016
Unreasonable Lab Japan, "Unreasonable Challenge Day" will be held on November 6th which is organized by Unreasonable Lab Japan, highlighting the results of Unreasonable Lab Japan 2016.
The Unreasonable Institute gets entrepreneurs what they need to scale solutions to the world’s biggest problems by identifying entrepreneurs with the potential to address problems at scale, and connect them with mentors, funders, and partners to help grow their impact. which have raised funds, totaling over $80 million.
Today, Japan finds itself in the position of a developed country, facing many challenging problems which includes from ageing population, energy consumption to education system. At Unreasonable Challenge Day, we welcome entrepreneurs that are tackling global social and environmental issues through unreasonable ideas, speakers who are professionals in problem solving and workshop facilitators to discuss and share knowledge on global social and environmental problems and possibilities of impact entrepreneurship.
We also invite participants who are interested in impact entrepreneurship and solving social and environmental problems and encourage dialogue around impact entrepreneurship all over Japan.

◼︎ Keynote Speakers Profile
Kan Suzuki holds professorships at both the Graduate School of Public Policy at The University of Tokyo and the Graduate School of Media and Governance at Keio University. He has also served as a visiting researcher at the University of Sydney, part-time lecturer in policy studies at Chuo University and associate professor at Keio University’s Faculty of Environment and Information Studies.
Mr. Suzuki received his bachelor’s degree in law from The University of Tokyo in 1986 and worked at Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI). After leaving METI, he was a member of Japan’s House of Councilors for 12 years. He served two terms as senior vice minister of Japan's Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), and is currently an executive committee member of the Japan Football Association.

Unreasonable Labs Japan, working together with Unreasonable Institute, has been providing accelerator program for early/idea-stage, Japan-based entrepreneurs that are tackling social and environmental problems since 2015. It is designed to help Japan-based entrepreneurs rapidly identify and validate the foundational assumptions of their business.
Unreasonable Labs Japan is known for its high quality program and 90% of the last year’s participants have scored 5 out of 5. Unreasonable Instituteからも、クオリティが高いとの評価を受けているプログラムです。This year, we had 7 info sessions all over the world to support social entrepreneurs.
