誕生会には何人の人が参加していたのかは明かされていない。
父親が銃を振り回した時、父親は指で誤って引き金を引き、自分の腹部を撃ったという。なぜ銃を振り回したのか動機については明かされていない。父親の他に怪我人はいなかった。『Daily Mail Online』によると、父親は病院に運ばれたが、容体については不明だそうだ。

　父親の身勝手な行動や思わぬ事故で、誕生会が悲劇に変わってしまい、娘を含めた多くの人の気持ちは計り知れない。
