どのような方法で男が女性を殺害したかは明かされていない。男と女性は顔見知りではなかった。

　女性と一緒に住んでいる女性の息子が仕事から帰宅した際、女性の遺体を発見し、警察に通報。警察の捜査により、男は逮捕された。

　強く抵抗ができない高齢者をターゲットにした強姦事件は、卑劣で忌まわしい事件である。
