しかし、Twitterなどでは反発の声も。アメリカ人女性の平均サイズは14号で、ロビン・ローリーは12号。確かに、これまでのモデルに比べると「ぽっちゃり（プラスサイズ）」かもしれませんが、現実の女性像に比べるとまだ「痩せている」モデルだと言えそうです。

ちなみに彼女、同誌撮影時に妊娠していたそうですよ。妊娠初期であったため、まだ気付いていなかったそうです。
