　犯行現場にいた男を警察は逮捕した。男は犯行を認め、警察の調べに対し「女性をナイフで殺した後、女性の心臓と肺と脳を調理して食べた」と話しているという。警察によると、女性宅のキッチンにあった調理器具は血まみれになっていたそうだ。なお、男が女性を殺した詳しい動機については分かっていない。
