少年は注意されたことに腹を立て、車の中にあった銃で保安官を撃った。保安官はすぐに病院に運ばれたが、その日のうちに死亡が確認された。少年は、事件の4時間後に逮捕されている。
自分の非を注意されたことで相手に腹を立てるべきではないし、ましてや殺人を犯すなど、もってのほかだ。
